Dr. Kim is a 1999 graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and is owner and small animal practitioner at VHNW. She has a special interest in critical care and internal medicine.
Dr. Kim and Dr. Steve were married March 4, 2000 and they have 3 children, Haley, Tyler and Garrett. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. When she has time she enjoys running, snow skiing and traveling. She is an active member of Alive Church.
Dr. Steve is a 2000 graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and is owner and equine practitioner at VHNW. Prior to attending Texas A&M to obtain his vet degree, he attended Colorado State University where he earned his Masters Degree in Equine Reproduction. Upon graduating, he spent 2 years working at an equine referral hospital outside of San Antonio. Dr. Steve has a special interest in lameness and in all aspects of reproduction. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. When not practicing veterinary medicine, he enjoys out door projects, taking his kids hunting and snow skiing. He is an active member of Alive Church.
Dr. McMahan has been providing relief veterinary services for the VHNW since Spring of 2021. She graduated from Texas A&M University with her D.V.M. in 1993 and became IVAS Certified for Acupuncture in 2011 as well as CCRP Certified in Canine Rehab in 2016. Dr. McMahan is a part-time resident of both Arizona and Texas, and spends a large amount of time traveling between the two. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and traveling. Two cats and two dogs are lucky enough to call Dr. McMahan their owner.
